Mailings in messengers are a tool for sending messages to a group of customers via messengers and social networks: Telegram, VKontakte, WhatsApp, Instagram, and others. With mailings, you can inform customers about promotions, discounts, and new products.
Mailings can only be sent to customers who have already interacted with you through messengers. If a customer has contacted you through several platforms, the message will be sent to the messenger that you select during the mailing setup.
In this article, we will cover:
- how to create a mailing
- how to select recipients
- how to add a message
- how to configure a mailing
- how to send a mailing
Example of a mailing from a real estate agency
Creating a mailing
Go to the Mailings section, select the mailing type “Messengers,” and click “Create mailing.”.
To navigate the list of mailings more easily, give it a name. Use the very first field in the mailing settings for this; it will be visible only to you and will not be shown to customers..
Selecting recipients
In Mavibot, you can choose at what point in time the number of mailing recipients will be calculated.
- Calculate recipients at the moment of creating the mailing — in this case, the number of recipients is fixed at the time the mailing is created.
- Calculate recipients at the moment the mailing starts — at the scheduled time, the system will recalculate how many users match the selected filters.
Choosing a messenger
The next step is to select the messenger through which your mailing will be delivered.
Important to know.
If there are no customers in a messenger, it will NOT be displayed in the “Filter by connected messengers.”.
If a WhatsApp bot has been recently connected and has no customers yet, it will also NOT be displayed in the filter by connected messengers.
Filtering mailing recipients
In the mailing settings, you can flexibly configure recipient filters by the following criteria:
By stages in Mavibot CRM
The mailing will be received by customers who are at the selected stages of the funnel.
By being in lists or blocks of the funnel builder
- Mailing by lists: choose available lists from the Lists section; you can select several.
- For customers in state”: filter by blocks in the funnel builder.
There is also a similar filter for excluding recipients from the mailing based on their presence in lists or specific blocks in the funnel builder.
Adding the mailing text
Once you have finished configuring the main filters, you can move on to writing the text. To do this, go to the “Message” tab.
In the “Message text” field, write any text you need for your mailing. Do not forget that you can use the built-in artificial intelligence to generate the text: just enter the topic of the mailing, and it will provide the rest of the text.
In addition to text, you can also add images, audio, video, files, links, and even buttons to your mailing, which makes your offer as useful as possible for recipients.
Sending a mailing
The final step is sending the mailing, but there are several nuances to consider. To proceed to sending, open the “Sending” tab.
You can send the mailing in two ways: immediately or by choosing a scheduled time for sending.
Pay attention to the “Interval between sending messages” setting. It affects the sending speed: the lower the value, the faster the messages will reach recipients.
Once everything is configured, click the “Send” button to start the mailing. Alternatively, you can save this mailing as a draft.
