The project transfer process can be divided into several steps:

  • Create a project backup.
  • Grant the customer access to the project.
  • Connect the required messengers.
  • Leave the project.

Under this approach, you will continue receiving partner commissions for each copied project.

Although you can simply grant the customer access and then leave the project without creating a copy, this is not recommended. If the customer accidentally breaks something, having a backup allows you to restore the project quickly.

How to create a project backup

You can create a backup in either of the following ways:

Backup → Project Recovery → Create Backup

Or directly from the project list:

For more information, see the article about project backups.

Important

Chat history and connected messengers are not included in the backup. After restoring a copy, you must reconnect all required messengers.

If you create a backup by mistake, you can delete it in the project settings.

Important

Once a backup project is deleted, it cannot be restored.

How to grant access to a project

Project access is managed in the Settings section.

If you are transferring the project to a customer, grant them the Administrator role.

How to leave a project

To leave a project, click the Leave (strikethrough) icon in the project access list.

Alternatively, you can click Leave project from the project list.
